Confetti, Chaos & Cult Classics - The Rocky Horror Show at Centralteateret in Oslo!

Confetti, Chaos & Cult Classics - The Rocky Horror Show at Centralteateret in Oslo!

We entered under the bold letters of Transylvanian Convention – already a hint that this would not be an ordinary night at the theater. Costumes, glitter, and strangers smiling like old friends.

Entering the madness – the Transylvanian Convention awaits.

Before the curtain even went up, the fun started at home. Party hats, glowsticks, cards, newspapers, and our secret weapons: confetti cannons. Rocky Horror isn’t just a show – it’s a full-contact audience sport.

Our arsenal: confetti cannons, party hats & glowsticks. Ready for battle.

Once seated, we were fully in character. Hats on, energy high, waiting for the madness to begin. And madness it was – we shouted, we danced, we fired off our our confetti cannons, not sure if it was at the right time at first, but I think we nailed it (although we where the only ones who had brought cannons it seems like 🤣). The line between stage and audience blurred into one wild celebration.

Pre-show mingle with a mysterious green guest. Rocky Horror vibes from the very first beer.

Hats on, spirits high – waiting for Rocky Horror chaos to begin.

This is what it looked like at our seats after. Confetti. Playing cards. Party hats. A battlefield of glitter and laughter. The cleanup crew must hate this show – but that’s the point: Rocky Horror is meant to be messy.

Aftermath: confetti, cards & glitter everywhere.

And the cast? Electrifying. Especially Adrian Angelico as Dr. Frank N. Furter – magnetic, fearless, and impossible to look away from. The whole theater rose in applause, still covered in confetti.

And just when we thought it was over, the music turned up and the stage turned into a dance floor. Audience and actors together, celebrating like we were all part of the same strange, glittery family. The Rocky Horror Show isn’t something you just watch. It’s something you survive – a ritual of chaos, confetti, and absolute fun.
